Hide emotes and stickers in Twitch, YouTube Live, and Kick chat. You can also hide emojis in settings.

Chat Emote Cleaner is a Chrome extension that hides emotes, stickers, and emojis from Twitch / YouTube Live / Kick chat. If you feel overwhelmed by emote-only messages or emoji spam, you can turn them off per site and per type, and read chat as mostly plain text. [Features] Supported sites ・Twitch ・YouTube Live (including live chat replay) ・Kick What you can hide (per-type toggles) ・Standard emotes (Twitch / Kick) ・Image emojis (YouTube Live / Twemoji, etc.) ・Text emojis (Unicode emojis such as 😀, 😄, 🤣) ・Stickers / large emotes (Twitch) ・Bits / Cheer (Twitch) ・Extension emote services: 7TV, BTTV, FFZ Per-site toggle ・Enable it only on Twitch, disable it on YouTube Live, etc. Remove empty lines ・If a message only contains emotes, the whole chat line is removed so that no empty line remains(Kicks will leave a blank space due to chat box specifications). [How to use] ・Install the extension. ・Click the Chat Emote Cleaner icon in the browser toolbar. ・In the popup: 　- Turn on “Enable hiding emotes”. 　- Choose on which sites to enable the extension (Twitch / YouTube Live / Kick). 　- Select which types to hide (standard emotes, image emojis, text emojis, stickers, Bits/Cheer, 7TV/BTTV/FFZ, etc.). ・Open a chat window on the supported sites. Emotes and emojis will be hidden according to your settings. [Permissions] ・Storage 　- Used to save your settings (ON/OFF toggles) in Chrome’s sync storage. 　- Only extension settings are stored. Chat content and browsing history are not stored. ・Site access (twitch.tv / youtube.com / kick.com) 　- Used to read the chat DOM in your browser and hide matching elements. 　- Chat messages and usernames are not sent to any external server controlled by the developer.
