Chat Cache captures the current conversation or only the messages you select, keeps the structure readable, and exports it without manual copy paste. With Chat Cache, you can: - Export complete ChatGPT conversations or selected messages - Create clean PDF and Word documents for sharing, printing, or archiving - Keep code blocks, tables, headings, lists, links, math, and long-form answers readable - Save lightweight text, data, and web-friendly exports from the same workflow - Use fast or high-fidelity PDF rendering depending on whether speed or polish matters more - Add a ChatGPT conversation to NotebookLM as a source when signed in - Navigate long chats with the built-in outline and question controls - Keep local-first backup files for study notes, research threads, debugging sessions, and strategy work Chat Cache is designed for document quality, not screenshots. Exports preserve readable text where the selected format supports it, and long conversations are handled as complete artifacts instead of cut-off page captures. Privacy matters. Most export work happens locally in your browser. When secure rendering is needed, Chat Cache sends the user-requested export to its rendering API and does not store conversation content after the generated file is returned. Chat Cache does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking tools. Chat Cache is focused on one job: turning ChatGPT conversations into useful documents and sources you can come back to later. What's new in this version - Fixes page-side previous and next prompt controls for long, virtualized ChatGPT conversations by using ChatGPT's native prompt index when available. - Rebuilds the Outline from ChatGPT's complete authenticated prompt history and orders labels by original prompt time, so every native position matches its real question text even when paginated API pages arrive in reverse traversal order. - Removes the duplicate targeted-hydration pass from long-chat exports, allowing Word/DOCX capture to reach rendering without repeating the same page scan. - Captures private ChatGPT-hosted screenshots and edited images inside the authenticated page world so Word exports embed them instead of falling back to links. - Keeps Word/DOCX export working when a private ChatGPT image URL expires or cannot be fetched by replacing only that image with a clickable fallback link. - Bumps the extension package to `0.5.0.11` for the next Chrome Web Store upload.
