Chart Replay Backtester

Bar replay and paper trading on TradingView-powered charts: hide future candles, step candle by candle, trade with SL/TP and stats.

Practise trading on real historical price action, one candle at a time, on sites whose chart is built on TradingView's charting library: crypto exchanges, DEXes, brokers and more. Chart Replay Backtester adds a bar-replay panel to web trading charts. Pick a start candle and everything after it disappears. Reveal the market candle by candle, or let it play, and paper-trade as you go. WHAT'S NEW IN 1.1 - A cleaner panel with a light and a dark theme (auto-detects the chart). - Your chart's candle colours are never touched. Choose trade colours from four palettes. - Expandable equity curve with drawdown, best and worst trade. - Replay and export controls moved into a settings drawer, with a "reset trades too?" check. - More reliable replay far back in history on exchanges such as Binance. REAL REPLAY ON TRADINGVIEW-POWERED CHARTS - Works on exchanges and DEX front-ends built on TradingView's Charting Library, for example Hyperliquid, Lighter and Binance's TradingView view. - Future candles are removed from the chart's data, not covered up. Zoom, scroll, switch timeframe or add indicators: none of them can leak the future. - Switching to a higher timeframe mid-replay rebuilds the unfinished candle from the finer bars, so you never see its final high, low or close early. - Uses the candles the chart already loaded, so it adds almost no extra load on the exchange. PAPER TRADING - Market or limit orders: long or short at the last close with one key (L / S), or place a buy or sell limit and drag it to your price. - Stop loss of 1 ATR and take profit at 2R by default. Drag the position box to change either. - Exact OHLC fills. A gap through the stop, the target or a limit fills at the open. If one candle hits both stop and target, the stop is assumed first. - Closed trades are marked with small entry and exit arrows. - Stats: total R, win rate, expectancy, profit factor and an equity curve. Export every trade to CSV.
