Very useful since Chrome got rid of the native feature to fix broken character encodings on legacy sites.

Thank you very much! Chrome was detecting a SHIFT_JS website as UTF-8, which of course, resulted in garbage text displayed. Now, it's working perfectly. Thank you very much.
