Overview

Filter YouTube to only the channels you choose. Block recommendations, Shorts and distractions from every other channel.

ChannelOnly makes YouTube a focused space. You pick the channels you want, and recommendations, Shorts, trending and the endless feed from every other channel disappear. HOW IT WORKS When filtering is on and you've added at least one channel: - Home shows only videos from your channels. If YouTube's feed has none, a "From your channels" section shows their latest uploads. - The sidebar next to a video keeps only suggestions from your channels. Opening a video from any other channel takes you back home. - Search results and playlists show only your channels. If a search has no matches, you get buttons to search inside each of your channels, or "Show all results once" (filtering pauses for 10 minutes). - Your channels' own pages work normally. Other channel pages take you home. - Hidden: the left menu, notifications bell, home topic chips, end-screen suggestions, the up-next autoplay countdown and Shorts shelves. - Subscriptions, History, Trending and Shorts pages redirect home. With filtering off, or before you add a channel, YouTube looks and works completely normally. ADDING CHANNELS - Turn filtering off, open any channel or video, and click "Add to ChannelOnly" in the bottom-right corner. - Or enter a channel's @handle, channel link or a video link on the settings page. For a plain name, ChannelOnly opens YouTube's channel search in a new tab (filtering pauses for up to 10 minutes) so you can pick the right one. Click the toolbar icon anytime to open settings, switch filtering on or off, or remove channels. PRIVACY - Your channel list is stored only in your browser. - The only network requests are YouTube's public RSS feeds for the channels you add, used to show their latest uploads. - No accounts, no analytics, no tracking, no developer servers. GOOD FOR Studying, deep work, or anyone who wants YouTube for a few creators without the rabbit hole.
