Overview
See Channel Workbench findings in YouTube™ Studio. Click to put a corrected link in the description, then review it and click Save.
What you need: a Channel Workbench account (channelworkbench.com) with your channel connected and scanned. The extension is free. On the free Channel Workbench plan it shows your top 3 findings; paid plans ($5 to $15 a month, bought on channelworkbench.com, never inside the extension) show your whole fix queue. Fix Assist puts your Channel Workbench findings beside the video you're editing in YouTube™ Studio, so you can fix broken affiliate links, expired sponsor URLs and missing affiliate tags in the place you already edit your descriptions. What it does • Shows the open findings for the video you're editing: what's wrong with each link and a suggested fix. • Highlights the flagged links inside the description box. • Shows the exact change before you make it, then puts the corrected link into the description when you click "Apply to editor". You review it and click Save yourself. • Copy a corrected link instead, if you'd rather paste it yourself. • Mark fixed, Snooze or Ignore a finding, or rescan the video, just like the web fix queue. • On other Studio pages, shows how many videos need attention, with a "Start fixing" list. • If you've connected your own Amazon Creators API credentials in Channel Workbench, suggests in-stock replacements for dead or unavailable products. Each price and stock status shows when it was checked. What it never does • It never clicks Save or any other button in Studio. Nothing changes on your channel until you save. • It never asks for access to your Google account and makes no requests to YouTube. • It never sends your description text anywhere, and it runs only on studio.youtube.com. • No analytics, no ads, no tracking. Before it connects, Fix Assist shows you everything it reads, stores and sends, and it does nothing until you click Agree. You can turn it off from the panel at any time. Affiliate links: any Amazon link Fix Assist puts in your description carries your own Associates tag, from your connected account or your original link. Channel Workbench adds no affiliate code of its own, and Fix Assist never changes a link unless you click.
