Overview
This extension automatically converts all downloaded pictures with the .jpeg or .jfif file extension to the .jpg file extension.
If you download a file that has the extension .jpeg or .jfif, this will automatically rename it to a .jpg extension instead. Note that clicking the button in the Chrome bar doesn't do anything - this works completely in the background with no user interaction required. As of March 30th 2024, it's working for me and does what it says it does. Especially useful since certain sites to not be named force jfif nonsense now and other apps don't automatically display jfifs like they do for other image formats. Converting the files individually or even having to get another app to do it en masse is a lot more effort than just using this.
