Champions Mode
Overview
Makes Pokémon Showdown battles behave like Pokémon Champions: locked choices, hidden info and Champions clocks.
Champions Mode makes a battle on Pokémon Showdown play like a Pokémon Champions battle, so you can practice under the same conditions. • Locked choices. Once you submit a turn you can't take it back. • Hidden information. The battle log, tooltips, stat badges and damage percentages stay hidden. Battle Info, the Pokémon screen and the battle log open only when you ask for them, as in Champions. • Champions clocks. Move time, your time and game time, with the move clock waiting for animations. A note at 30 seconds and a countdown from 10. Showdown's own timer shows beside them. • A Champions-style screen. An enlarged battle scene with Fight and Pokémon menus, a team preview picker, target selection and open team sheets. • Keyboard play. Arrow keys, Enter and Backspace, plus shortcuts you can rebind. • Practice records. Each battle's timing is saved in your browser. Champions Mode never chooses for you. It only presses Showdown's own buttons when you click or press a key, and it never forfeits. You can turn the Champions UI off at any time to get Showdown's normal screen back. Champions Mode is a fan-made practice tool. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, Game Freak or Pokémon Showdown.
