Overview

Image downloader & batch saver: scan any page, filter by size or type, preview and bulk download images in one click. 100% local.

Image Grabber is a bulk image downloader for Chrome and Edge. Open any page and the side panel, and every picture on that page is collected into one place where you can filter by size and type, preview at full size, select what you want and save it all in a single batch. It is for people who collect references, product shots or research material and are tired of right-clicking one image at a time. No account, no ads, no tracking. Downloading is where most tools fail quietly. A saved image turns out to be a 403 page, a placeholder or a thumbnail. Image Grabber fetches each file the way the page itself would, with the page's cookies and referrer, and only then hands it to the download engine, so pictures behind hotlink protection or a login session arrive as the real file. It also looks for the higher-resolution original behind a lazy-loaded thumbnail, and uses it only after checking that it is genuinely larger. WHY IMAGE GRABBER • Scan anything: normal images, lazy-loaded sources, the largest candidate in a srcset, CSS background images, video posters and images inside SVG. • Original detection: finds the full-size file behind a small preview, marks it HD and falls back to the displayed image when no larger original can be verified. • Auto Collect: keeps adding images while the page loads, so nothing is missed on long or infinite-scroll pages. • Grid and list views: thumbnails for browsing, a compact table for comparing. • Filters: minimum width and height, image type, and sorting by width, height or name. • Manual Pick: click the exact element whose image you want, including background images. • Full-size preview with arrow-key navigation, plus download and copy-URL buttons, and copy URLs for everything that passes the filter. • Batch download up to 30 images at a time for free, with a success and failure report at the end. • Your list and your removed marks survive reloads, so a long collection session is not lost. • Single-page apps are handled: real navigations and in-page route changes clear the old list and rescan the new view. • Interface in six languages. WHAT IT FINDS ON A PAGE Modern pages rarely keep their images in plain image tags, so a scanner that only reads those misses most of the gallery. • Lazy-loaded images, where the real address sits in a data attribute until the picture scrolls into view. • Responsive sets, where the largest listed candidate is chosen instead of the small one the browser picked. • CSS backgrounds, including those drawn by before and after pseudo-elements. • Video posters, source sets and images embedded in SVG. • Linked originals, where the thumbnail points to a much larger file, verified by size before it replaces the preview. • Dynamic content added after load, caught by Auto Collect or by scanning again. FROM SCAN TO SAVED FILE • Open the page, click the toolbar icon and work in the side panel while the page stays visible. • Turn on Auto Collect for a page that keeps loading more, or press Scan for a single full pass. • Narrow the list: set a minimum width and height, pick a type, sort largest first. • Click any image for a full-size preview; use the arrow keys to move through the set. • Select the ones you want, copy their addresses, or start the download and keep the panel open until it finishes. • At the end, a summary tells you how many files were saved and how many failed. FREE VS PREMIUM Free: unlimited scanning and browsing, filters, both views, full-size preview, manual pick, copy URLs, original detection, and batch downloads of up to 30 images at a time in the original format. Premium (optional licence): no selection cap, so a whole gallery can go in one run; perceptual deduplication that spots the same picture at a different address; conversion to JPG, PNG or WebP while downloading; compression with a quality slider and a maximum width; and a single advanced pipeline that deduplicates, converts and saves. One key activates on two browsers, and removing the licence from one browser frees that slot again. No licence is needed to scan or download. Every free feature works without an account. Premium asks the licence server for a check about every two hours. It keeps working while you are offline; a failed check never switches the paid features off. HOW IT WORKS 1. Open the page whose images you want and click the Image Grabber icon. 2. Let Auto Collect run, or press Scan once. 3. Filter by size and type, then preview the candidates. 4. Select the images and press Download; keep the panel open while the batch runs. 5. With a licence, use Advanced Download to deduplicate, convert or resize in the same step. PRIVACY FIRST • Scanning happens on your device. The list of images and your filters stay in your browser. • Original detection checks candidates with temporary image loads sent directly to the image host; only dimensions are read, and it can be switched off. • Downloads are fetched with the page's cookies and referrer, then saved; nothing is uploaded to an Image Grabber server. • No account, no analytics and no tracking. The only outbound request is an optional licence check for paid features. • Licence activation sends a random installation identifier and basic browser metadata, never your images, page content or browsing data. • Premium keeps working offline, the check runs roughly every two hours, and a failed check never locks you out. BUILT FOR DESKTOP CHROME AND EDGE • Desktop Chrome and Microsoft Edge, with the side panel as the main workspace. • Other Chromium browsers fall back to a popup or a tab. • Downloads are grouped in an Image Grabber folder in your download location. • Useful for designers, marketers, researchers, teachers and anyone building a visual reference collection. Stop saving images one right-click at a time. Scan the page and take the whole set with you. More tools and support: https://annmax1983.com
