URL Prefix Tab Grouper

Automatically moves tabs with a configured URL prefix into a configured tab group.

URL Prefix Tab Grouper helps you keep browser tabs organized by automatically moving matching tabs into named tab groups. You can configure a URL prefix, a tab group name, and a group color. When a tab is opened, updated, activated, or when Chrome starts, the extension checks whether the tab URL starts with one of your saved prefixes. If it matches, the tab is moved into the configured tab group. The extension also keeps a local history of saved rules, so multiple URL prefixes can participate in automatic grouping. You can reuse, organize with, or delete saved rules from the options page. The toolbar popup provides a one-click organize action for scanning already open tabs. Key features: - Group tabs automatically by URL prefix - Configure group name and color - Save and reuse previous grouping rules - Organize already open tabs with one click - Reuse existing tab groups in the same browser window Privacy: This extension only reads tab URLs to match user-configured URL prefixes. It does not collect, transmit, sell, or share browsing data. Configuration and history records are stored in Chrome extension storage.
