Put every Chrome window back where you left it — tabs, positions, and every monitor Windows reports.

Stop dragging your Chrome windows and tabs back to your second, third, and fourth monitors every day. Chrome’s “Continue where you left off” fails on multi-monitor setups. Close windows one by one, reboot, or wake the monitors, and Chrome dumps every tab onto the primary display. Preferred Setup remembers the layout you saved! One you have everything on each monitor they way you want it. Click on the extension and choose "Update preferred setup". Once you open Chrome: Click the Extension and choose "Restore Now"! ✨✨ What it does ✨✨ ◆ Restores on startup, or on demand. Arrange once, save, and Chrome puts the windows back when it opens. The yellow Restore now button does the same thing whenever you want. ◆ Remembers position, size (125% etc.), and state. Left, top, width, height, and whether the window was maximized, minimized, or fullscreen. Works with one monitor or as many as Windows reports. ◆ Keeps each window’s tabs together. Ordered tabs, the active tab, pinned tabs. Advanced adds tab group names and colors, and per-tab zoom. ◆ Stays on this computer. Layouts are saved in that Chrome profile only. Nothing is uploaded. No account, no analytics. ◆ Handles a missing monitor. Windows that lived on an unplugged screen open centered on another monitor so you can drag them and save again. ✨✨ How it works ✨✨ 1. Arrange your Chrome windows and tabs the way you work. 2. Open Preferred Setup and save. 3. Next time Chrome starts, your windows open where you left them. Move something? Click Update, then Restore now if you want it immediately. Leave Chrome’s own startup setting alone, including “Open a specific page or set of pages.” The extension replaces that single piled window.
