This extension implements a user study. It collects web usage data and snapshots of web pages from your browser.

# What is Intervenr? This extension implements a user study conducted by researchers from the University of Pennsylvania and Northeastern University. It collects two types of data: (1) browsing activity and (2) copies of webpages from specific sites: Google, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude. It may change your experience on Google Search. # How Will Data be Used and Protected? Your data will be stored securely on servers at Northeastern University. All collected data will be kept strictly confidential and used for research purposes only. We will not share your data with anyone who is not involved in this research. Any reports or publications based on this research will only use aggregate data and will not identify you or any individual participant. You may stop participating at any time without penalty. You may also request that any data collected from your browser be deleted at any time. This study is approved by the Institutional Review Boards at the University of Pennsylvania and Northeastern University. # Who are we? We are a group of researchers from University of Pennsylvania and Northeastern University, studying the impact of digital media on people and society.
