Ex-X Twitter brings back the classic Twitter look and language on modern x.com. Version 2.0 is a full rewrite for the post-rebrand site. It now works on x.com as well as twitter.com, restoring the familiar Twitter branding that disappeared after the move to X. WHAT IT RESTORES - Bird logo: replaces the X masthead with the classic Twitter bird - Classic favicon: brings back the Twitter bird in your browser tab - Tab title: changes titles like “Home / X” back to “Home / Twitter” - Original wording: changes “Post” and “Repost” back to “Tweet” and “Retweet” NEW IN VERSION 2.0 - Full support for x.com - Continued support for twitter.com - Rebuilt for X’s modern single-page app navigation - Reapplies changes automatically as you browse - New popup controls for every feature - Cleaner permissions: only uses storage to save your settings CUSTOMIZE IT Use the extension popup to turn features on or off individually: - Enable or disable the whole extension - Toggle the bird logo - Toggle the classic favicon - Toggle tab title changes - Toggle Tweet/Retweet wording PRIVACY Ex-X Twitter does not collect, sell, or transmit personal data.
