Jirlee is a Kurdish dictionary browser extension for looking up words while reading online. Select a word on a webpage and look it up in Jirlee without leaving the page. Choose the language you want it translated into — once — and every word you look up is kept, so you can find it again. Supported Kurdish varieties include Sorani, Kurmanji, Hawrami, Zazaki, and Kalhori, with translations and definitions in English and German. The extension does not read or collect entire webpages, browsing history, cookies, or page addresses. When you explicitly look up a selected word, only the information needed for the dictionary lookup is sent to Jirlee. Your list of looked-up words stays on your own device. It is never uploaded, it is not tied to any account, and you can export or delete all of it at any time. The extension does not contain advertising, analytics, or tracking. The Jirlee browser extension communicates with the Jirlee service only for dictionary functionality.
