YouTube, Instagram and Reddit are built so there is always one more thing to watch. Endwhile removes the endless parts and leaves the parts you opened them for. Search works. Videos play. Messages arrive. Threads open. YouTube - Replaces the home page, Trending and Explore with a plain search box - Turns off the Subscriptions feed - Opens Shorts as normal videos, without the swipe feed - Hides recommended videos: the sidebar, end screens, autoplay and the Next button - Hides like and dislike counts - Optional: hide comments Instagram - Turns off the home feed, Stories, Reels and the Explore grid - Reels also disappear from the menu and from profiles - Search and messages keep working - Optional: hide comments Reddit - Turns off the home feed - Hides suggested posts and communities - Optional: block subreddit front pages, so you can only reach a thread from search or a link - Optional: allow only the subreddits on your own list - Optional: block user profiles - Comments can be shown, collapsed behind a button, or hidden On every site - Greyscale mode, which takes the colour out of the page - Run it all the time, or only during the hours you set - Turn each site, and each option, on or off separately Privacy Endwhile has no account and no sign-up.
