Overview

Shift+Space on a Linear issue opens it in a side panel on the right.

Read and edit Linear issues in a panel docked to the right of the page, without leaving your list. Linear's Peek (Space) shows a small preview. This extension adds a second, bigger option: press Shift+Space on any issue in a list and the full issue opens in a resizable side panel. The page shrinks to make room, so the list stays visible and usable. If you've used Jira, it works like browsing tickets in the Jira backlog: click a ticket and its details open on the right while the backlog stays on the left. You can go through issues one by one without losing your place in the list. • Shift+Space on an issue opens it in the side panel • Keep moving through the list with j/k; the panel stays on the issue you opened • Shift+Space on another issue switches the panel to it • Esc, Shift+Space on the same issue, or the close button closes the panel • The full Linear issue view: edit fields, comment, change status • Drag the panel's edge to resize; the width is remembered • Plain Space still opens Linear's own Peek • Toolbar switch to turn it off Works on linear.app in Chrome. No account, no setup, no data leaves your browser. Not affiliated with or endorsed by Linear or Atlassian (Jira).
