Overview
Generate, validate, score, and copy Selenium and Playwright locators for elements you select.
LocaPilot is a browser extension designed for Selenium and Playwright testers who want to generate reliable automation locators quickly. How it works: 1. Turn on Locator Mode. 2. Hover over and click a webpage element. 3. LocaPilot inspects the selected element. 4. It generates locator candidates such as ID, CSS Selector, XPath, data-testid, name, and ARIA-based locators. 5. Each candidate is validated against the current DOM. 6. LocaPilot scores locator quality and recommends the strongest option. 7. Copy Selenium Java or Playwright Java code with one click. Beta Features: • Click-to-select webpage elements • Element highlighting • ID, CSS Selector, and relative XPath generation • data-testid, data-test, name, and ARIA locator support • Locator uniqueness validation • Locator Health Score • Dynamic ID detection • Recommended locator • Selenium Java locator generation • Playwright Java locator generation • One-click Copy LocaPilot MVP 1 performs locator analysis locally in the browser and does not require an AI API or backend.
