One click saves the recipe you are reading into your family's Napkin box: clean, no ads, kept for good.

Napkin keeps a family's recipes in one place: the handwritten cards photographed and kept, the ones from the web saved as clean cards, all of it private to the family and printable on 4x6 index cards. This extension is the fastest way to put a recipe from the web into your box. HOW IT WORKS 1. Install the extension and paste your clip code once. The code is on your Account page at app.napkin.recipes. 2. When you are reading a recipe you want to keep, click the Napkin button and choose "Save this recipe". You can also right-click the page or a link and choose "Save to Napkin". 3. The recipe appears on your family's shelf as a clean card: ingredients, directions, no ads, no life story before the recipe. Already saved it? Napkin tells you it is already in the box instead of making a duplicate. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO It does not read the pages you browse. It sends one thing, and only when you ask it to: the address of the page you chose to save. No analytics, no advertising, nothing sold or shared. Your clip code lives in the browser's extension storage and you can replace it any time from your Napkin account, which instantly stops the old one working.
