Overview

Inspect and edit websites, extract design systems, and audit usability and performance. Export a complete report with evidence.

Inspect a website's design, try visual changes, and compare its layout at different sizes with Browser Extractor. INSPECT AND EDIT • See element sizes, spacing, colors and typography, with contrast checks. • Try visual edits with undo, redo and reset. These extension edits change the page in your browser; they do not publish changes to the website. • Pick colors and explore shades and harmonies. • Extract colors, fonts, images and detected technology in the side panel. • Copy an element with its look and paste it onto another site you open; one click lets the paste take on that site's style, and another brings back the style it was copied with. • Copy the working code of the selected element, with notes on what the page does with it. • Turn any element, the audit or your live edits into a prompt for your AI coding tool, with a screenshot. It goes to your clipboard and nowhere else. • Change a color everywhere it appears on the page at once. • Frames grow to fit what you add to them, and spacing is set per side, like in a design tool. • Export design tokens, palettes and audit reports with evidence. RESPONSIVE COMPARISON Choose up to six views from phone, tablet and desktop viewport presets and see the page you are on at each size, side by side inside the page. Each view is the real website, so you can scroll, click and test interactions; actions there can affect the real website, as in any tab. Your visual edits stay on the original page. Some websites do not allow themselves to be shown this way. For those, the page opens in a window of its own at one device size. Device names describe Chrome viewport presets. They do not guarantee identical Safari or physical-device behavior. AUDITS Check design consistency, accessibility signals and the loaded page's local performance, then export a report. Preview a suggested fix on the page with undo, and jump from a finding to the element it is about. Findings support manual review and do not certify accessibility compliance. Separate audit device testing is currently paused. PRIVACY AND CONTROL No Browser Extractor account is required. Page content, URLs and scans are processed locally and are not uploaded to our servers. If you choose Your AI, the page details you choose go straight from your browser to your own AI provider, with your key; never to us. Saved scan data remains in your browser until you remove it. Responsive views load the website normally, as a tab would. Anonymous usage sharing is on by default and shown in a one-time notice; turn it off any time in Settings. It sends feature-use counts, versions, operating system and approximate country associated with a random installation ID, without visited URLs or page content. You can disable it in Settings to request deletion of stored usage data. AI mode and Audit with AI work with your own key from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini or an OpenAI-compatible server. The key stays on your device and goes only to that provider; you confirm what is sent before the first request. With a provider that lists its prices, you can limit AI to free models, and ask it to use only providers that do not keep what you send; free models are often run by companies that may keep it. Our AI, which needs no key, is coming soon: joining its waitlist or sending feedback is a separate choice, and those submissions send the information you enter, plus the diagnostics explained in our privacy policy. The current tools are free. Read the privacy policy at https://browserextractor.com/privacy-policy.html. Questions or ideas? Use Send feedback in Help or contact islamalsoultan@gmail.com.
