Watermark Hider
Overview
Hides watermark layers that pages place over their content. Pick anything it misses; settings are kept per site.
Hides watermark layers that web pages place over their content, such as a username, email address or date repeated across the page, so you can read and work comfortably. Works automatically • Hides overlays that cover the page or a document area: tiled images, repeated faint text, canvas layers and ::before/::after overlays • Only hides click-through layers, so buttons, dialogs and the page's content keep working • Also catches watermarks added later, inside iframes and inside open shadow DOM • Compatible with watermark components that rebuild themselves when removed Pick anything it misses • Click the toolbar icon, choose "Pick a watermark to hide", then click the watermark (picking one piece of a repeated watermark hides the whole set) • Arrow Up/Down selects a larger or smaller box, Enter confirms, Esc cancels • Picks are remembered per site and can be removed one by one Turn it off for any site from the same popup. Limits: watermarks that are part of an image, video or PDF file cannot be hidden. Watermark detection is heuristic: if something useful disappears, turn the extension off for that site from the popup. Privacy: everything runs on your device. No data is sent anywhere, no analytics, no remote code.
