Marsh — Fact-check buddy

Check a post, quote card or screenshot for fake news without leaving the page. 10 free checks a day, no account.

Marsh is a cute marshmallow buddy that checks what you're reading for fake news — right where you're reading it. HOW IT WORKS • Highlight a post, right-click, and choose "Check with Marsh". • Got a screenshot or a quote card? Right-click the image and choose "Check image with Marsh". • Want to check everything you see? Right-click the page, click the Marsh button, or press Alt+Shift+M. Marsh picks out the main post and tells you, like a friend would, whether it's true, possibly fake, or not sure yet — and why. It says what kind of post it is (news, a personal post, hearsay, an opinion or an unconfirmed report) and names its sources when it has them. PRIVACY-FIRST • Marsh only reads a page when you ask it to. No background scanning. • Images and screenshots are read inside your browser. Only the text is sent for fact-checking — never the picture. • No account, no ads, no tracking. FREE • 10 free checks every day, resetting at midnight (Philippine time). • A check is only used when Marsh gives you a real answer. • Credit codes add bonus checks that never expire. MORE • Answers in English, Filipino, Chinese, Spanish, Hindi, Arabic, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean and French. • Pick Marsh's mood (calm, happy or annoyed at fake news) and a colour theme. • Your last 10 checks are saved on your computer only. • Every answer has a Report button if Marsh gets something wrong. Marsh gives a helpful signal, not a final ruling — always double-check important news with trusted sources. Also available as an Android app: https://hellomarsh.app/
