Master your time the visual way!
Timebox++ is based on the idea of timeboxing, i.e. allocating a fixed time period to each planned activity. The point is to prevent pitfalls of Parkinson's law: "work expands so as to fill the time available for its completion", i.e. it's a good idea to set a time limit on any task you're trying to accomplish. It's a minimalist timer with only one button - Start/Stop. Great tool, and the design is elegant. I'm not sure how to turn off the notification sounds. It's annoying.

Peta, your beautiful extension keeps on sending notification sounds once the timer is finished, and AFAIK there's no way of stopping it!

The timer part works, but you can't change the color on opera. Tried it on chrome and it worked, so I'll just wait.
