Turn an Indian bank or credit card statement into transactions Actual Budget can import, with real payee names instead of UPI reference strings. How it works - Drop a statement (PDF, CSV, Excel, or an HTML table saved as .xls) onto the side panel. - The statement is read on your own computer. Nothing is uploaded. - A balance check confirms every row was read correctly before you import. - Unclear payees are listed so you can name them once; the names are remembered. - Download a file for Actual, or connect to your own Actual server and push the transactions straight in, with a preview, a closing balance check and an undo. Tested with ICICI, Federal Bank, IDFC FIRST and CSB statements. Other banks may work; if one does not, the report tells you what to send. Privacy - No account, no analytics, no tracking, no advertising. - The only network traffic is to your own Actual server, and only when you choose to push. - The extension keeps payee names and, if you tick the box, your server address and Sync ID in its own storage on your computer.
