Privacy (ყველაზე მნიშვნელოვანი — აქედან მოდის უარყოფების უმეტესობა) **Single purpose description:** ``` Micro Chat is a messaging client: signed-in users exchange private and group messages, photos, files and voice notes with other Micro Chat users from the browser toolbar popup. ``` **Permission justifications:** `identity` ``` Used for "Sign in with Google" (chrome.identity.launchWebAuthFlow / getAuthToken). The Google access token is sent once to our backend to verify the user's identity (name, email, profile photo). No other Google APIs are accessed. ``` `storage` ``` Stores the user's session token and UI settings (theme, sound on/off, status mode) locally so the user stays signed in between popup openings. ``` `alarms` ``` While the popup is closed, an alarm checks the unread message count every 30 seconds to update the toolbar badge, and sends a presence heartbeat once a minute so contacts see whether the user is online. ``` `idle` ``` Detects whether the user is active or idle so the chat can show "active" or "idle" status to the user's contacts. Only the state (active/idle) is sent, no activity details. ``` `offscreen` ``` Plays a short notification sound when a new message arrives while the popup is closed. Manifest V3 service workers cannot play audio, so an offscreen document with reason AUDIO_PLAYBACK is used. Click the toolbar icon and press "Sign in with Google" — any Google account works. 2. To test messaging, sign in with a second Google account in another Chrome profile, search for the first account's email in the search box and send a message. 3. Hover a message (or right-click it) to reply or add a reaction. 4. Attachments: paperclip button (photos/files), microphone button (voice; Chrome asks for microphone access in a small tab the first time). "My files" (bottom left) is personal storage with folders. 5. Settings (bottom left): end-to-end encryption, chat PIN, language, themes, sound, status and "Show me in search". 6. Chat PIN: set a PIN in Settings, then right-click a chat (or use "⋯") → "Lock with PIN". "Forgot PIN?" emails a one-time code to the Google account address. 7.
