A pomodoro focus extension where a cat gatekeeper guards your distractions.
Catnap Gatekeeper is a focus timer that politely locks you out of distracting websites once you've spent too long on them. When your time is up, a cat takes over the tab until your break is over. You decide which sites count as distracting and how long you can spend on them each day. The extension only counts time while a listed site is the active tab — background tabs don't drain your budget. When the limit is reached, an animated cat overlay covers every listed tab until the break ends. ★ FEATURES • Configurable daily time limit (1–240 minutes) and break length (1–60 minutes) • Your own list of blocked domains — add or remove any site at any time • Non-dismissible cat overlay during the break, with a live countdown • Replace the default cat with your own animated image or short video • One-click pause when you genuinely need access to a listed site • State survives browser restarts and syncs across tabs ★ PRIVACY Settings, timer state, and any uploaded cat media stay in your local browser storage.
