On Rightmove listings: each nearby school's Ofsted grade and whether the home is within its last distance offered.

House hunting near a good school? Catchmently adds two things to the "Nearest Schools" list on Rightmove property listings: • Last place offered: how far from the school the last place went in the latest year the council (or school) published, and whether this home is within it, e.g. "✓ Within · last place 0.52 mi (2025)" or "Outside · last place 0.31 mi (2025)". Where everyone who applied got a place, it says "Everyone offered". Where the last place went to a priority group (such as a named feeder school or a catchment area), it says "Priority group only", because living closer doesn't help outside that group. • Ofsted grade next to each state school. Click any figure to open the school on Catchmently, with its map and the schools nearby. How it works • Distances compare a straight line from the home's postcode centre with the published last distance offered. Councils measure in their own ways and figures change every year, so this is a guide to where places reached, not a catchment or a chance of a place. • Figures are shown as published, with the council or school that published them, the entry year and the intake (Reception, Year 3 or Year 7). • Covers schools in England where Catchmently has a published figure; other rows are left as they are. It reads the listing's postcode and the school names on the page and looks them up in Catchmently's public data; it sends no page content or personal data and keeps no history.
