Overview
A calm glossary for healthspan vocabulary and Catalyst's four pillars. Define selected terms on demand. No page reading, ever.
Healthspan is the number of years you live with capability, not just the number you are alive. The vocabulary around it has grown quickly: VO2 max, Zone 2, sarcopenia, progressive overload, GLP-1. Most of it is explained badly, or by someone selling something. Catalyst Healthspan Lexicon is a quiet side panel that defines the terms and shows which of the four pillars each one belongs to: Body Composition, Cardiorespiratory Fitness, Stability, and Strength. WHAT IT DOES - Browse or search 24 healthspan terms, offline, with no page load - Highlight a term on any page, right-click, and choose Define with Catalyst Lexicon - See each term mapped to the pillar it affects - Save the terms you want to come back to WHAT IT DOES NOT DO This is the part most glossary extensions get wrong. This one requests no host permissions and injects no scripts into the pages you visit. It cannot read the page you are on, your tabs, or your browsing history, because it was never granted the ability to. The only text it ever sees is the text you highlight and explicitly send to it through the right-click menu, and that lookup happens on your own device against a glossary file bundled with the extension. Nothing is transmitted anywhere. There is no account, no sign-in, and no analytics inside the extension. WHO IT IS FOR Anyone reading about training, longevity, or metabolic health who wants a straight definition. It is written for people training for the decades rather than for a deadline, so the entries stay educational: define, do not diagnose. Nothing here is medical advice, and nothing here treats or diagnoses a condition. WHO MADE IT Catalyst Performance is a longevity-focused personal training studio in Singapore's CBD. The proprietary entries mirror the published glossary at catalystperformance.sg/lexicon. There is one link in the footer to our free Healthspan Audit if you want to see where your own four pillars sit. PERMISSIONS, IN PLAIN ENGLISH Storage: saves your favourites and your two preferences on your own machine. Side panel: the interface itself. Context menus: adds the Define entry to the right-click menu when you highlight text. That is the entire list. Check it yourself at chrome://extensions.
