Adds a small live SEC catalyst score badge next to ticker symbols on the financial websites you already read.
Catalyst Edge surfaces our live SEC catalyst score right where you're already reading about a stock — no new tab, no new app, no copy-paste. Whenever you land on a page that mentions a ticker symbol, a small color-coded badge appears next to the symbol showing today's convergence score (0–100). The score combines signals from SEC filings, insider activity, options flow, short-interest pressure, and news momentum into a single number you can read in a second. Click the badge to open the full catalyst dossier on catalystedgescanner.com — the same scoring methodology, with the underlying signals shown. What's inside the badge? • Today's convergence score • Conviction tier (WATCH / ELEVATED / HIGH / MAXIMUM) • Last price (where available) What it does NOT do: • No tracking. No analytics inside the extension. No cookies set. • No third-party calls. Only catalystedgescanner.com is contacted. • No background polling. Scores are cached in the browser for 5 minutes per ticker. Privacy • All data calls go to catalystedgescanner.com, the publisher's own domain. • Score cache lives in chrome.storage.local — never synced upstream. • Privacy policy: https://catalystedgescanner.com/privacy/ Single purpose This extension has one purpose: display the SEC catalyst convergence score badge next to ticker symbols on financial-research websites where users routinely look at tickers. Permissions • "storage" — used only to cache score lookups for 5 minutes per ticker so we don't re-fetch on every page load. • host_permissions for catalystedgescanner.com/* — used to fetch the live convergence score from the publisher's API. About the score Catalyst Edge is a publisher of public SEC data. The convergence score is an analytical signal derived from public EDGAR filings, options data, and aggregated news momentum.
