Open a shop's page in Chrome, even a shop you don't own, and CatalogCSV turns its public product catalog into one spreadsheet in a few clicks: for dropshipping and product research, competitor price checks, catalog moves and client audits. Export Shopify products with every variant, price, compare-at (sale) price, SKU, in-stock status and image URL. Free up to 100 products per export, no account, nothing uploaded. It is not a spy tool: no sales estimates, no app or theme detection, just a clean CSV of what the shop shows publicly, made entirely in your browser. WHO USES IT • Dropshippers and product researchers: see a shop's product range in one sortable sheet, with vendor, product type, tags, options, prices and image links side by side. • Price analysts: pull a competitor's current prices, compare-at prices, SKUs and in-stock / sold-out status. Each export is a snapshot you can compare with your next one. • Merchants moving a catalog: copy a shop you can't log into (a supplier, an old shop, a client's shop) as a ready-to-import product CSV where every product arrives as an unpublished draft. Or map the variant rows to WooCommerce or another importer. • Agencies: hand a client a complete product, price or image list without asking for admin access. HOW TO USE IT 1. Open a shop's page in Chrome. If the page isn't a shop CatalogCSV can read, it tells you so. 2. Click the CatalogCSV icon and, if you like, pick a format. 3. Click "Export this store". The CSV downloads, ready for Excel, Google Sheets or Numbers. WHAT YOU GET: THREE CSV FORMATS • Variant rows: one row per variant with price, compare-at (sale) price, SKU, in-stock status, options, vendor, type, tags, weight, product URL and image links (26 columns in total). Add the product description as HTML or plain text if you want it. • Shopify import CSV: 29 columns in the bulk-import layout. Every product is set to draft and unpublished, so nothing goes live by accident. • Image URLs only: every image link with its position, alt text, size and the variants it belongs to (8 columns). The images themselves are not downloaded. BIG CATALOGS The exporter pages through the catalog 250 products at a time. In testing it paged through a 6,498-product catalog to the end. SHOPS THAT HIDE THEIR PRODUCT LIST Some shops hide their product list. CatalogCSV then tries the shop's public catalog page and the product pages listed in its sitemap (slower, and only products the sitemap lists). For many headless shops, which run a custom front end, it finds the catalog on the shop's own separate host. READY FOR EXCEL AND GOOGLE SHEETS In the Variant rows and Image URLs files, accents and emoji show correctly in Excel, no cell can run as a hidden formula, and you can switch to semicolons for European Excel. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Everything runs locally in your browser. No account, no API key, nothing installed on the shop, no analytics or tracking. Requests go only to the shop you're exporting (for headless shops, also its own catalog host) and, once you activate Pro, to our license service to check your key. MINIMAL PERMISSIONS It can only read the tab you click it on, and only when you click (permissions: activeTab, scripting, storage). No host permissions. FREE VS. PRO Every format and option is free, and each free export includes the first 100 products. Pro has no limit, monthly or yearly, with one key for up to three browsers or computers. FAQ Does it work on every shop? No. It reads shops whose products are publicly visible. It can't read a shop that is running a bot check, and a password-protected shop needs its password entered first. Can I get Excel (XLSX) or JSON files? No. You get CSV, which opens directly in Excel, Google Sheets and Numbers. Does it download the images? No. It exports the image links, which you can open or download with any other tool. Does it show sales, apps or themes, or track shops over time? No. It exports what is publicly visible, at the moment you click.
