Overview

A lightweight break timer. When browser use runs long, a cat walks in and guards the screen until you rest.

Cat Break Guardian is a lightweight break timer that helps you step away from endless browsing. Set a work limit and a break duration. When your active Chrome usage reaches the limit, a cat walks in from the edge of the screen, sits down to guard your browser, and leaves only after your break countdown finishes. Features: - Default 60-minute work session and 5-minute break - Custom work and break durations - Three-state cat animation: entering, guarding, and leaving - Upload your own custom cat images - No account required - No ads, analytics, or external tracking - Settings and custom images stay locally in Chrome Note: Chrome extensions can only show overlays on supported web pages. They cannot cover Chrome internal pages, Chrome Web Store pages, or other desktop apps.
