Carry — Save ChatGPT, Claude & Grok chats to Obsidian as Markdown
Overview
The automatic capture layer for AI conversations. Sync your Providers' Conversations into your local Vault as Markdown.
You do your best thinking inside ChatGPT, Claude, and Grok. Then you close the tab, and it's gone — trapped in someone else's history, spread across three apps, impossible to search. Carry saves those conversations to a folder you own, as clean Markdown. No account. No API key. No server. Nothing to trust. WHAT IT DOES • Syncs your ChatGPT, Claude, and Grok conversations into one folder — a plain one, or your Obsidian vault. • Clean Markdown, built from each provider's own API. Code, tables, and math survive intact. • Sync again and it updates in place. No duplicates. • Grok included — the one with no export of its own. PRIVATE BECAUSE IT HAS TO BE Your conversations are read through the session you're already in, held in memory for one sync, and written straight to disk. They never reach a server, because there is no server. We can't see your data. We never receive it. It asks for almost nothing: no access when you install it, and when you connect a provider, only that one site. No cookies, no history, no watching where you browse. YOURS TO KEEP Plain Markdown on your own disk, from the first sync. Open it in Obsidian, an editor, or anything that reads text. There's nothing to export later, because nothing was ever locked in. You press Sync; Carry saves your recent conversations. One-time price — no subscription to keep your own words. You close the tab. The conversation doesn't die with it. That's Carry.
