Carrier Pigeon
Overview
Replaces UTM tracking parameters with hilariously implausible alternatives. Carrier pigeons, ouija boards, and ancient prophecies.
UTM parameters — utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign and friends — are how marketers track where you came from. Carrier Pigeon intercepts every link you click and swaps these parameters for ridiculous alternatives, right at the network level, before the request even reaches the server. Instead of utm_source=google, the server sees utm_source=carrier_pigeon. Instead of utm_medium=email, analytics dashboards get utm_medium=screaming_into_void. Traffic appears to originate from ouija_board, ancient_prophecy, and accidental_butt_dial. Features: - Intercepts UTM parameters before the request is sent — the server only ever sees the funny values - Covers all standard UTM parameters: source, medium, campaign, term, content, region, channel, and ID - Each page load gets a fresh random set, so analytics data stays maximally chaotic - Popup shows exactly which values are currently active - Roll Again button for instant re-randomization on demand - Zero data collection — no browsing history leaves your device, ever Who is this for? Privacy advocates, UTM skeptics, developers who want to keep their personal browsing out of marketing dashboards, and anyone who thinks "utm_source=fever_dream" is a reasonable attribution channel.
