Overview

Type anywhere. Pause for a second. Caret quietly fixes your grammar in place — no underlines, no clicking through suggestions.

Caret fixes your grammar the moment you stop typing, right in the text box. Grammar tools underline your mistakes and make you accept each fix one by one. Most people just click "accept" on all of them anyway. Caret skips that step: pause for about a second, and the spelling, grammar and punctuation are corrected in place. A small note shows exactly what changed, with an Undo button. WHERE IT WORKS • Gmail, WhatsApp Web, Google Chat, LinkedIn, Slack in the browser • Most comment boxes, forms and chat boxes on the web YOUR WORDS STAY YOURS • Caret fixes mistakes, it doesn't rewrite you. Your tone, slang, emojis and Hinglish stay as they are. • If a fix would change too many words, Caret leaves your text alone. • Undo any fix with one click or Ctrl+Z. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Your text is sent only after you pause, only to be corrected, and is never stored. • Caret never touches password, email, card or OTP fields, or code editors. • Pause Caret on any site with one click. FREE DURING BETA • Caret is free while it's in beta. Paid plans with a free tier will come later, and beta users will hear about them first. • Press Report on any fix that's wrong: it undoes the fix and shows us what to improve.
