The saved opportunity becomes part of the same CareerGauge record you can use to manage your application, documents, contacts, interviews, follow-ups, and outcome. SAVE & ANALYZE Want to know whether the opportunity deserves more attention? Choose Save & Analyze to capture the job and start a CareerGauge analysis against your professional profile. CareerGauge evaluates the opportunity and produces a Decision Brief designed to help you understand: • whether the opportunity appears worth pursuing; • where the fit is strong or weak; • important gaps and risks; • practical application strategy when you choose to move forward. Analysis runs in CareerGauge, so you can continue browsing while the job is being processed. When analysis is complete, the extension shows the result and lets you open the opportunity in CareerGauge for the full Decision Brief and job-search workflow. FOCUS ON THE OPPORTUNITIES THAT MATTER A job search can involve dozens of postings, but not every job deserves the same amount of time. CareerGauge helps you quickly move past weak opportunities and spend more attention on jobs that appear worth serious consideration. The extension is designed to make that process easier by connecting the job posting you're already viewing directly to your CareerGauge workspace. FLEXIBLE JOB CAPTURE CareerGauge can capture information from many employer career pages and structured job postings. When automatic capture cannot identify enough information, the extension provides fallback options so you can review the captured information, use selected text from the page, or provide the job description manually. CareerGauge does not claim to automatically extract every job posting on every website. USER-INITIATED BY DESIGN CareerGauge does not continuously monitor your browsing. The extension inspects the active page when you explicitly open or use CareerGauge. The extension does not require access to your browsing history. Job information is prepared for capture from the page you are viewing. Full captured job content is sent to CareerGauge when you choose an action such as Save Job or Save & Analyze. WHY CAREERGAUGE? Saving a job with the Chrome extension does not itself use Capacity Units. AI-powered analysis uses the same CareerGauge analysis allowance and Capacity Unit balance as analysis started from the CareerGauge web application. PRIVACY CareerGauge is designed around explicit user action. It does not passively monitor your browsing activity.
