CardIndexer
Overview
Tracks where your cards are used (merchant, subscription vs one-off) without storing full card numbers.
CardIndexer tells you which of your cards was charged where — and whether it was a one-off purchase or a recurring subscription — without ever storing a full card number. When you reach a checkout page, CardIndexer recognises it and asks a single question afterwards: did that payment go through, and on which card? Confirm it and the charge is recorded against the right card in your dashboard. Decline and nothing is kept. What it records • The merchant domain, the card you confirmed, and whether the charge was one-off or recurring • A masked last-4 only, read from the page you are already looking at • Nothing at all until you are signed in — a fresh or signed-out install scans nothing and sends nothing What it never does • Never reads, stores or transmits a full card number, CVV, or any payment credential • Never reads inside a payment processor's iframe • Never sends query strings or URL fragments — addresses are reduced to scheme, host and path before they leave the page You can permanently mute any site with "Never on this site", which stops the extension doing any work on that domain. Requires a CardIndexer account. Free and paid plans are available at cardindexer.com.
