CardFlow - Debate Tools for Google Docs
1 rating
)Overview
A set of tools to help competitive debaters use Google Docs more effectively, similar to Verbatim but for google docs
Card Flow is an open-source and completely client side Google Chrome extension that implements a variety of debate formatting, organizing and in-round tools. It makes your life way easier when debating using google docs, and is similar to Verbatim, having basically all the same features while using the google docs editor instead of Microsoft Word. Features include: - Formatting tools (condense, shrink, highlighting) for cutting cards - A Flow in the side panel to which you can auto-flow docs to keep track of the debate - Speech Doc creation - Easy to use virtual tub to store blocks and cards - Read mode, caselist, and other numerous debate features to make google docs livable when debating competitively Card Flow is better than a lot of other google addons because it operates on the client side, not the server side. This means when you want to make edits it doesn't have to go through the internet, which is unreliable in a debate round, as well as just be way slower. It is completely open-source and the repository can be viewed here: https://github.com/joeassal/debate-tools/issues
