Card Alias
Overview
Shows your own aliases next to masked card numbers like •••• 2071.
Most payment pages list your saved cards as a brand and the last four digits, and almost none let you name them. Was 2071 the work card or the travel one? Card Alias finds masked card numbers on the pages you visit and marks them. Hover the badge to see the name you gave that card, or click it to add, edit or delete it. • Finds masked numbers in English and Spanish: Visa •••• 2071, **** 2071, card ending in 2071, x2071, tarjeta terminada en 2071, acabada en 2071 and more. • Right-click any number it missed and pick "Add card alias…". • Works in checkout iframes, late-loading lists and pop-up dialogs. • Syncs through your Chrome profile, with JSON export and import. • Your own highlight colors. Privacy: Card Alias keeps each card's brand, last four digits and the alias you type, plus the sites where you added a card by right-click and your colors. All of it lives in Chrome's sync storage, so it only travels through your own Chrome sync to your own Google account. It is never sent to the developer or anyone else, and there are no servers, analytics or trackers. Card Alias never stores full card numbers and never reads form fields. The alias editor runs in a separate extension frame, so websites can't read what you type into it. That sync is the only reason this listing declares "Financial and payment info": the card brand and last four digits leave your device, but only to your own Google account.
