Track car prices from AutoTrader UK and Car & Classic listings

Car Price Tracker records the asking prices of second-hand cars as you browse AutoTrader UK and Car & Classic, and builds a price history for each car on carpricetracker.com. There's nothing to click: just browse. • Open a car listing on autotrader.co.uk or carandclassic.com and its details are saved: make, model, trim, year, mileage, engine size, asking price, the registration where the listing shows one, and the listing's main photo and address. A ✓ flashes on the toolbar icon each time a page is captured. • Open a search-results page and every car in the results is saved at once. On Car & Classic the search itself is saved as well, so the cars on its other pages get tracked too. • Tracked listings are re-checked daily, so a car's price history keeps building whether or not anyone revisits it. • Click the toolbar icon to see what was picked up from the current page, with a link to that car on carpricetracker.com. On carpricetracker.com you can: • see each car's price history as a chart, with every price change listed; • compare a car against every other one of the same model that's been tracked, including those whose listings have ended; • browse the biggest price drops across all tracked cars; • create a free account to star cars and get an email when one drops in price or its listing ends. Prices are shown in the currency the seller used (classic listings are often in euros), and mileage in the seller's own miles or kilometres. Nothing is silently converted. What it sends, and what it doesn't The extension runs only on autotrader.co.uk and carandclassic.com, and sends data only to carpricetracker.com. The listings you open become part of the public price history on carpricetracker.com; that's what the extension is for. It doesn't send your postcode or location, your account details on either site, your cookies, your browsing on any other website, or anything that identifies you.
