Car Price Checker
Overview
Is it a good deal? Car Price Checker shows the fair market price of any used car listing, a verdict and the real listings behind it.
Car Price Checker is a Chrome extension that tells you whether a used car's asking price is fair. Open a listing on any car site, and the side panel shows the typical market price for the same model, year and version, adjusted for mileage, with a clear verdict. 🚗 Check a car price in three steps 1. Open a used car listing on any website. 2. Click the floating button or the toolbar icon. 3. Read the verdict, the price range and the listings behind it. A used car price checker for any listing Car Price Checker reads the car from the page: year, make, model, version, mileage and asking price. Then it finds what the same car sells for in your market and works out a typical price and a normal range. It's a car price check you run from the listing itself, so there's no need to retype details into a valuation site. The side panel shows: • the typical market price and the low to high range • where the asking price sits in that range • how far it is above or below the typical price • how confident the estimate is • the prices and pages behind the estimate When a page doesn't show the car clearly, edit the fields or click the price on the page. The used car price estimator takes it from there. Is this car a good deal? That's the question behind every listing, and the verdict answers it in one line: - Good price: more than 10% below the typical price - Fair price: within 10% of the typical price - Above market: more than 10% over the typical price The verdict compares the asking price with cars of the same model, year and version, so a cheap car with very high mileage doesn't pass for a bargain. Use it as a car deal checker before you call the seller or book a test drive. Dealers and private sellers often ask very different prices for the same car, and some listings stay online for weeks. Knowing the typical price for that exact version shows how much room there is before you make an offer, and which cars are worth a closer look. Car price comparison with real listings Every estimate comes with its evidence. Car Price Checker lists the listings and price guides it used, each with its price and a short note, so you can open them and compare for yourself. A single number becomes a quick look at what dealers and private sellers ask for the same car. Prices move, so you can check again at any time or open the same search to look further. For a different version or engine, edit the car and run a new car price lookup. A car price analysis takes a few seconds, and the result is still there when you come back to the same listing.
