Overview

Capture, import, annotate, and organize screenshots in a private, searchable library that stays in your browser and on your device.

CaptureFlow is a local screenshot and image workspace for capturing, annotating, organizing, and retrieving visual information. Capture the visible portion of a webpage, select a specific region, save a full scrolling page, or import a PNG, JPEG, or WebP image from your device. Captures can be edited, categorized, searched, downloaded, and viewed from the full Gallery or Chrome side panel. Key features: - Visible-area, selected-region, and full-page screenshots - Local PNG, JPEG, and WebP image importing - Crop, pen, highlighter, rectangle, text, arrow, blur, and pixelation tools - Searchable notes, tags, projects, groups, page titles, and URLs - Favorites, duplicate indicators, sorting, filters, and Trash - Compact, standard, and expanded Gallery layouts - Optional Gallery in Chrome’s side panel - Individual image downloads and local ZIP exports - Optional one-way PNG, JSON, and Markdown copies in a Windows folder selected by the user Version 0.2.2: - Added clearer, more prominent Apply controls for crops and annotations - Prevented captures from being saved while annotation changes are still waiting to be applied - Added separate remembered color, opacity, size, fill, font, and effect-strength settings for each editing tool - Improved the workflow for adjusting, moving, and resizing annotations before committing them Version 0.2.1: - Fixed an issue where Undo did not fully restore an image after cropping Version 0.2: - Redesigned Dark and Light themes - Added a System theme that follows the computer’s appearance - Added an Original theme option that preserves the previous interface - Improved full-page capture for substantially longer pages - Improved handling of repeated fixed headers and footers during scrolling captures - Added user-created groups to the Gallery and sidebar - Added autocomplete for groups, projects, and tags - Added keyboard navigation between organization fields - Improved placement and resizing for text, rectangles, and arrows - Added text resizing that preserves the text layer’s proportions - Added movable rectangles and arrows with an Apply step before they are committed - Added adjustable arrow size, color, and opacity - Added sharper arrowheads and consistent CaptureFlow annotation colors - Added non-destructive editing from either the original or edited image view - Added automatically saved preferences with a brief confirmation message - Updated the CaptureFlow icon, popup, sidebar, and high-contrast controls The working library remains in the current Chrome profile. CaptureFlow does not send screenshots, imported images, page information, notes, tags, projects, groups, preferences, or edits to the developer or a cloud service. There are no accounts, advertisements, analytics, or remote image-processing services. Downloads, ZIP exports, and optional Windows folder copies are created only when requested by the user. These files are copies and cannot currently restore the working CaptureFlow library.
