Capture Web Table
Overview
Capture web tables and export to clipboard, CSV, Excel, or Markdown
Capture Web Table extracts tables from any website so you can copy them into Excel, CSV, Markdown, or your clipboard — without broken paste and without uploading the page to a server. HOW TO EXTRACT A TABLE FROM A SITE 1. Open the webpage that shows the data. 2. Click the extension icon. Real HTML <table> elements appear in the popup with a preview. 3. Click Copy (tab-separated, ready for Excel or Google Sheets paste), Edit, or export to CSV / Excel / Markdown / screenshot. 4. If the popup says no table found, the page is probably a DIV / flex / grid list. Press Alt+Shift+E (Picker) and click the repeating block. WHAT IT ACTUALLY DOES • Detects HTML tables in the top page and iframes • Expands rowspan / colspan merged cells into a regular grid • Picker (Workshop): box-select repeating DIV lists that look like tables but are not <table> tags • Inline actions on the page (Alt+Shift+D) for Copy / CSV / Excel / Edit • Right-click: select here, inline actions, or capture the current selection as a table • Page+: in Picker, try the next-page control once and merge that next page into Edit Data (heuristic; not a full crawl of every page) • Dynamic: in Picker, watch the selected block for newly added rows (infinite-scroll style) until you stop • Edit Data workspace: delete rows/columns, sort, transpose, then copy or download • History: recent captures stored on this browser (up to 200), including source URL • Screenshot: copy a PNG of the selected table to the clipboard • Google Sheets: copies the grid, then opens a blank spreadsheet so you can paste — it does not write to Sheets via API • PDF Extract: upload a PDF and get heuristic text rows (not OCR, not a guaranteed visual table rebuild) • CSV Import / JSON Extract: open a local CSV, pasted JSON, or a JSON URL you provide, then edit as a table KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS • Alt+Shift+E — Picker • Alt+Shift+D — Inline actions WHAT IT DOES NOT DO • Does not run on chrome:// pages, the Chrome Web Store, or other extension pages • Does not log into Airtable, Notion, or Power BI to pull their private APIs • Does not sync tables to a cloud database • Does not call Google Sheets / Office 365 / QuickBooks APIs • Is not a general website crawler or background scraper — it only reads the page you are looking at, when you capture PRIVACY IN ONE LINE Table capture and file export run locally in your browser. Captured cells are not sent to our servers for conversion. Sign-in is optional. SUPPORT Email: extensionkit@gmail.com WhatsApp: https://wa.me/85263929443 Telegram: https://t.me/extensionkit
