No sign-up, no upload, no watermark, no time limit. When you stop, the file lands on your machine. Capture Studio lets you set the bubble size (small through extra-large), zoom in on your face, and nudge the framing left-right and up-down — all of it while you're recording, from a panel that opens right on the page. There's a mirror toggle and a "re-centre me" button for when you've fiddled too far. QUALITY, HONESTLY LABELLED Recordings are saved as MP4 with H.264 and AAC where Chrome supports it, and WebM with VP9 and Opus everywhere else. The library page tells you exactly which codec you got, the resolution, the frame rate and the file size — no guessing, no claims the file can't back up. NOTHING LEAVES YOUR COMPUTER There is no server. Recordings are held in your browser's local storage and downloaded to your own disk. No account to create, nothing uploaded, no analytics on what you record. If you uninstall the extension, your recordings are still yours.
