CaptionFlow turns browser tab audio into live translated captions, helping you follow videos, online courses, talks, and livestreams. Sign in to CaptionFlow in the same browser, return to your video, and click the extension’s toolbar button to start. Click again to stop. Captions appear directly on the page. FEATURES • Translate audio from your selected browser tab. • Choose Qwen LiveTranslate or Google Gemini Live Translate. • Automatically detect the source language in Google mode. • Display the current and previous caption. • Enable optional streaming captions. • Customize fonts, size, colors, background, position, width, and alignment. • Enable optional quiet-speech enhancement. GETTING STARTED 1. Open the CaptionFlow website and sign in. 2. Use an account with active caption access. 3. Open a browser tab playing audio and click the extension icon. 4. Right-click the extension and select Options to adjust your preferences. REQUIREMENTS Desktop Chrome 116 or newer, an internet connection, and a CaptionFlow account with active caption access are required. Installing the extension does not automatically grant access. This is a test release. Paid checkout is not currently available. Extension settings and status messages are primarily in Simplified Chinese. Browser internal pages, extension pages, and some protected content may not support audio capture or caption overlays. Translation quality and latency depend on your connection, audio quality, and selected provider. PRIVACY Audio is captured only after you start a caption session. It is transmitted over encrypted connections to the CaptionFlow gateway and your selected translation provider. The application does not store raw audio or full caption text by default. Account and session metadata are used for authentication and access management. Translation providers process data under their own terms.
