Activating and Capturing Launch the Sidebar: Click the extension icon in your Chrome toolbar while watching any YouTube video. The dark-mode sidebar will seamlessly slide in on the right side of your screen. You can click the extension icon again at any time to hide the sidebar and enjoy your video in full screen without losing your progress. Snap a 4K Frame: Whenever the video displays a slide, diagram, or block of code you want to save, simply press Enter on your keyboard or click the Capture Frame button in the sidebar. The extension bypasses your monitor's display resolution and pulls the frame directly from the source video buffer, guaranteeing a perfectly clean, UI-free 4K image. Annotating and Interacting Full-Screen Editor: Right-click on any captured image in your sidebar to open the Annotation Editor. The video will pause, and a distraction-free editing canvas will appear over your screen. Draw and Type: Select the Pen tool to freehand circle key concepts, or select the Text tool, click anywhere on the image, and type out your notes. All annotations are rendered in a high-visibility red font. Click Save to lock your edits and update the image in your sidebar. Time-Travel Badge: Every captured slide features a dynamic timestamp badge (e.g., 14:22) in its bottom left corner. Clicking this badge instantly jumps the active YouTube video to the exact second that frame was captured, allowing you to instantly re-watch complex segments. Note Management: Hover over any captured image to reveal a red × button, allowing you to delete a specific mistake. To clear your entire workspace for a new video, click Reset Notes and enter the security passcode 123 to prevent accidental deletions. Exporting Your Master Document Instant PDF Generation: Press Ctrl + X on your keyboard or click the Export PDF button. The extension instantly compiles your high-resolution frames into a landscape PDF document. Every page automatically includes a clickable hyperlink that routes you straight back to that exact timestamp on YouTube. Markdown Support: Click Export Markdown to download a pre-formatted .md file containing your images and timestamped links.
