Capital Finders Listing Capture (Production)
Overview
Capture Crexi and LoopNet listing facts into Capital Finders deal intake.
Capital Finders Listing Capture helps move commercial real estate listing information from supported marketplace pages into the Capital Finders deal intake workflow with fewer manual steps. Built for Crexi and LoopNet sale listings, the extension adds a direct underwriting action on eligible property pages so users can capture visible listing facts and send them into the Capital Finders new-deal process. Instead of repeatedly copying addresses, prices, and property details by hand into a separate application, users can trigger a structured handoff from the listing itself. The extension is designed around a focused workflow. On supported Crexi and LoopNet pages, it checks whether the current page appears to be a valid sale listing and then prepares a capture based on the property information visible in the page interface. When the listing meets those conditions, the extension shows an action labeled “Underwrite with CapitalFinders.” Clicking that action sends the captured listing data to the extension background process, stores it temporarily, opens the Capital Finders deal creation page, and attempts to deliver the payload automatically. This creates a smoother path from listing discovery to deal intake for users who regularly review opportunities and want a structured starting point for evaluation. Its extraction logic is tailored to each supported site. On Crexi, the extension gathers details such as the listing heading, sale-status context, asking price, and “at a glance” facts shown in the property detail area. It also attempts to parse metrics including cap rate, NOI, square footage, acreage, buildings, and stories when those values are visible. The package indicates support for interface patterns such as tooltip-based values and expandable content, helping the extension capture details that may not always appear as simple static text. On LoopNet, the extension uses multiple detection approaches to locate the property facts section. It can inspect tables, labeled detail sections, and property-detail containers to find recognizable fields. From there, it maps details such as property type, sub type, square footage, acreage, cap rate, NOI, tenancy, stories, buildings, and price into a more normalized structure for downstream intake. The extension also tracks whether fields were found, missing, or present but not parsable, which helps preserve context around the quality and completeness of the captured data. Another notable part of the workflow is address handling and delivery reliability. The extension attempts to clean listing headings by removing sale-status suffixes like “For Sale” and may break the heading into structured address parts such as street, city, state, and ZIP code when possible. During transfer, it uses temporary browser storage, opens the Capital Finders application with a listing-capture indicator, and retries message delivery if the destination page is still loading. This makes the handoff more resilient and keeps the captured listing connected to its source page and timestamp. Key Features: - Adds an “Underwrite with CapitalFinders” action directly to supported Crexi and LoopNet sale listing pages. - Captures visible listing details such as source URL, capture time, address information, asking price, and property facts. - Extracts and normalizes fields like property type, sub type, square footage, acreage, cap rate, NOI, tenancy, buildings, and stories when available. - Uses site-specific logic for Crexi and LoopNet to detect eligible listings and gather relevant data from their page layouts. - Tracks whether important fields were found, missing, or not parsable to preserve completeness context. - Opens the Capital Finders new-deal page automatically and attempts to deliver the captured payload into the application. - Uses temporary storage and retry logic to support handoff while the Capital Finders page is loading. How It Works: 1. Open a supported property sale listing on Crexi or LoopNet. 2. The extension checks whether the page matches an eligible listing format and identifies visible property details. 3. It inserts an “Underwrite with CapitalFinders” button on supported pages. 4. When clicked, the extension captures listing facts and sends them to its background process. 5. The captured data is stored temporarily, and the Capital Finders new-deal page is opened. 6. The extension attempts to pass the listing payload into the Capital Finders page and waits for acknowledgement. 7. If the destination page is still loading, the extension retries delivery for a limited period before clearing temporary data after successful receipt. Privacy: - This extension uses browser storage to temporarily hold pending listing capture data and accesses supported listing pages and Capital Finders application pages in order to transfer listing information into the deal intake workflow.
