Canvas Teacher Toolkit adds a set of teaching tools directly to the Canvas LMS, so you can build better pages, grade faster, and manage your classes without leaving Canvas. Everything runs locally in your browser — no account, no server, no data collection. **Dark mode for all of Canvas** One click turns the entire Canvas interface dark, including the gradebook, announcements, dialogs, and file lists — easier on the eyes during long grading sessions. **Faster SpeedGrader** Set a grade, drop in a saved comment, and advance to the next student in a single click. Build a reusable feedback bank, fill rubrics to full marks, and use number-key shortcuts to insert comments. **Page design components** Insert ready-made, styled components — hero headers, callout boxes, buttons, and more — into the Rich Content Editor, then restyle any page to match with one click. **Achievement badges** Define a badge set per course, upload the artwork to your course files, and award badges in student feedback with a scan-and-match workflow. **Smart due dates** Set a "due in X days" date for the whole class and automatically apply extended-time overrides (1.5x, 2x) for students who need them. Choose calendar days or school days and skip holidays. **Accommodation management (504 / IEP)** Keep a private, on-device record of student accommodations by class period, flag students at a glance, and offer accommodations through a Canvas message — with an optional weekly reminder. **Your data stays yours** Your data stays yours Every setting and record — feedback comments, badge sets, class schedule, and any 504/IEP accommodation notes — is stored only on your computer, never uploaded, sold, or shared.
