CanvaAutoBG automates bulk background removal for images inside a Canva project folder — no more opening, editing, downloading, and closing each image one by one. REQUIRES CANVA PRO Canva's Background Remover is a Canva Pro feature. This extension automates that existing tool, so an active Canva Pro subscription (or Pro trial) is required for background removal to actually work. On a free Canva account, background removal will not succeed. WHAT IT DOES - Goes through every image card in your open Canva project folder automatically - Opens each image in the editor - Runs Canva Background Remover on it - Downloads the background-removed result - Optionally deletes the original image after it is successfully processed - Skips downloading and deleting any image where Canva fails to detect a background, so you never end up with an un-edited file mixed into your results HOW TO USE 1. Go to canva.com/projects and open the folder containing your images 2. Click the CanvaAutoBG icon to open the side panel 3. Click First Reload the Page, then Start Automation 4. Watch live progress, total images, current image, and deleted count, right in the side panel SETTINGS - Auto-download images: saves the background-removed output for every image - Auto-delete after processing: removes only the images that were successfully processed in the current batch. Originals that failed background removal are left untouched WHY USE IT Removing backgrounds from a large batch of product photos, icons, or assets in Canva one at a time is slow and repetitive. CanvaAutoBG turns that into a single click-and-wait job, with safeguards so failed images are never silently downloaded or deleted.
