Canary Trap
Overview
Auto-suggests a unique per-site email alias (you+company@gmail.com) so you can tell which companies leak or sell your address.
CanaryTrap gives every website you sign up for its own unique, trackable email alias (yourname+sitename@gmail.com) so if your inbox starts getting spam, you can trace it back to exactly which company leaked, sold, or got breached with your address. How it works: • Focus any email field on any site and CanaryTrap suggests a per-site alias built from your base email. • Choose "Show fill button" to confirm before filling, or "Auto-fill silently" to skip the prompt. • Right-click an email field to copy the alias to your clipboard instead of filling it. • The popup keeps a log of every site you've used an alias on, with use counts and last-used dates, so you can see at a glance which one is leaking. • Export your full alias log to CSV anytime. Privacy first: CanaryTrap runs entirely in your browser. Your alias log never leaves your device: no analytics, no third-party servers, no outbound requests.
