Overview

Save your open tabs as named sessions in one click, without closing them. Restore all or just a few. Local & free.

Ever close your browser and worry you just lost the 20 tabs you needed? calmtab fixes that. One click saves your open tabs as a named session — and your tabs STAY OPEN. You decide whether to close them. Bring them back anytime: all at once, or just the few you tick. WHY CALMTAB (vs the usual tools): - Save WITHOUT closing — unlike tools that wipe your tab bar the second you click. - Restore all, or only selected tabs — you're never forced into all-or-nothing. - Automatic background backup — a rolling safety net so a crash never wipes everything. Your named sessions are never auto-deleted. - Search everything — find a session by name, or by any tab's title or URL. - Export / import in one click — move your sessions between machines with a file. No cloud, no lock-in. PRIVACY FIRST: calmtab stores your sessions locally in your browser. It reads your open tabs' titles and URLs only to save and restore them. No account. No tracking. No server. Nothing is ever sent anywhere. Free and open source (MIT). Works on Chrome, Edge, Brave and any Chromium browser.
