Calm Feed — hide vanity metrics
Overview
Hides likes, follower counts, and view counts across social sites for a calmer, less comparison-driven feed.
Social feeds are engineered around numbers — likes, followers, views. Those counts drive comparison, anxiety, and the endless refresh. Calm Feed quietly hides them, so you can read, watch, and post for the content, not the score. It doesn't block sites or remove posts. It just turns down the numbers. FEATURES • Works across the big platforms • Choose what to hide — likes & reactions, follower/subscriber counts, view counts, and comment/share counts, each toggled on its own. • Two styles — Blur (numbers are fuzzed but you can hover to peek) or Hide (fully invisible). • Instant and automatic — it also covers content that loads as you scroll, with no lag. • Calmer by default — flip it on and the pressure to perform quietly fades. PRIVATE Everything runs locally. The only permission is storage, for your settings. No accounts, no tracking, no servers, no data leaves your browser. A note on how it works: social sites change their layouts often. Calm Feed uses a curated set of rules per site; if a platform reshuffles things, a metric might reappear until the rule is refreshed — updates are quick and easy. Calm Feed is free, with an optional tip jar if it makes your scrolling calmer.
